Transplant Video

Here is the video of Clara's bone marrow transplant! Not very exciting and the quality is bad because it is from Brooke's computer camera. But for those interested in the process, this is the start along with some singing and picture taking.

I can't tell you guys how much I appreciate getting to "be part of it" with this video. It just is so great to know what things are like there, and the happy birthday songs got me ALL choked up! what a sucker punch that was! ;) seriously - I love you 3 so much and am pulling for the speediest most successful engraftment ever!
love, Sara

I just cried during this thinking about what a monumental moment it was in her life. Nature gave her bad blood, God and the goodness of human nature at its best gave her new good blood. The butterflies are perfect! A transformation is occuring. Our Bug becomes a butterfly to fly OUT OF THAT HOSPITAL and into the world.
Brooke and Alan, you did a very great thing sharing this with all those who have invested so much loving prayer and thoughts into Clara over these months. They have been part of her journey, though out of her sight, and it was wonderful to think that they can see the actual huge moment that should bring her cure.
Love you guys so, so, so much!

Godfunckle is incredibly happy and overjoyed! Even though no tears drain from me after watching this video, I feel as though God has created a giant well or spring inside of me that I must keep filled. A spring of thanks, love, and hope that I have for my goddaughter. I want to give her what I haven't been able to.

Also thankful for the staff. Without them, she'd be gone. Who was the cute nurse we saw in the foreground the whole time anyway?
